Black bean Sarijang is the last invention of Dr. Insan, Kim Il-hoon, who was called a divine doctor (神醫) at the time of his life and called eternity saint, the divine medicine (醫聖) after he passed away, to save the human race when he was finishing up his 80 years of saving patients.

To make basic Sarijang, black bean which has been known as a medicinal bean since ancient times is used to make undiluted liquor with pure malt, and the water decocted with mineral-fed duck, native field garlic and elm bark and bamboo salt which is oriental-medically treated with high heat for nine times are mixed, aged and fermented to become a soy sauce type. Other synthesized herbs can be used instead of elm bark to be prepared, researched and applied.
